"On the surface, nice vintage hotel building. Two main concerns— First, the room had a strong musty mildew smell. Had to put the AC on continuous fan to make it manageable. Second, big set of stairs to enter hotel. Often two doormen standing there and never any offer to help guest with bags. Even a couple managing a baby and baby stroller, they didn’t make a move to help. Really unacceptable if you’re not going to have a ramp or elevator to enter."

"スタッフの接客が、ちょうど良いフレンドリーさと丁寧さで良かったです。立地も観光と駅に徒歩圏内でオススメです！"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Phoenix Park Hotel. It was a great location to Capital Hill and the mall as well as Union Station"

"Suuuuuuuper convenient and safe, nice area of DC , the location is less than 5 minutes from a metro station, the neighborhood is filled with great restaurants and markets. The amenities and all in one convenience of having a bar, dinning area and lounging spot, almost makes you want to stay in and enjoy the hotel a bit more, but a las there’s just so much to do in DC"

"Shower is too slick even when the floor is dry. I’m not sure if it’s because of cleaning residue from housekeeping. But this lead to me falling hard backwards in the shower. Maybe try to use a different cleaning product to prevent this from happening to others. Other than that the stay was good."

"Will stay again!"

"Beautiful modern hotel. Good location. Appreciated there not being carpet throughout. Easy, convenient parking."

"It was very loud, especially on Halloween night. Bed was unstable and creeked with every move. Shower was mediocre at best. The lobby was packed and hectic at night. We stayed here a year ago and it was great, this time was disappointing unfortunately."

"While the hotel shows online pictures of a beautiful bar and restaurant, there weren’t any. That was very disappointing. The ceilings are low in the bathrooms. The room was nice. Front desk staff were excellent and very friendly."

"Good location, amenities, and staff. No complaints about the stay. Plenty options provided at breakfast and the operating window is longer than other hotels. There is a chance it can get quite loud at night if there's an event at Union Market and/or nearby entertainment venues."

"Great place to stay for short walk to capital one arena. Parking across the street is 1/2 of what it is to valley at the hotel."

"Everything was good"
