"The room was spotless and very nice. The hotel is only two months old, but everyone knows their job and executes flawlessly. Also, so convenient for layovers between Quito and, say, the Galapagos. I highly recommend this hotel."

A bit strange: hotel brags about being anti-plastic; so there is no bottled water in rooms in spite of a coffee-maker and nice glasses. This presumes that tap water is OK. It seems to be. Time will tell."

I believe it was because of the ongoing construction but we didn't see or hear anything construction related. "
