"The Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancun is a beautiful resort. The rooms are very clean, housekeeping does a great job at keeping the room restocked and clean for the coming day. The grounds are immaculate. The detail thats put into keeping it beautiful is very evident. The pools are great with a walk up bar and water games to play in the pool. The staff are all so very helpful and all say hello to you no matter what their job is.
I would give this resort a 5 star rating but these are my reasons why I cannot...they do not have a lot of activities to do if you are spending your day at the resort. More children activities vs all ages...the food at the restuarants was very disappointing. We did one restuarant each night...three of them in our opinion were terrible.
The service was good but the selection offered, the serving size (small) and most importantly the taste. Not one but three different restuarants. But the Italian restuarant was our absolute favorite and the staff was exceptional. The pools were NOT handicap accessible at all. My husband and I are older and require some assistance like a handrail to help, but NOT ONE handrail was found in the public pool areas. Very difficult to get in and out of the pools. Very disappointing since a big part of our vacation was to spend time in the pool. That's all I got but its only an opinion."
