"Pros: Dit huis had alles! Van een zeer aangenaam zout water zwembad tot 3 zeer ruime slaapkamers en 2 zeer ruime badkamers. De leefruimte is zeer ruim en beschikt over alle materialen. Op het terras kan je heerlijk buiten zitten en kijk je over de wijngaarden heen. De eigenaars van het huis zijn zeer behulpzaam en super makkelijk te contacteren. Bij vragen voor ons verblijf reageerde ze binnen de 24u, tijdens het verblijf binnen het uur. Wij verbleven met een groep van 6 volwassen personen...

"Pros: Die Unterkunft war einfach Mega. Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe dort und jeder hatte genug Platz. Die Ausstattung, inklusive Pool war genau das was wie wir uns es vorgestellt hatten. "Pros: The rooftop deck and the pool in the neighborhood were definitely highlights! We enjoyed every minute because the house is very thoughtfully designed and well situated without street noise. Very relaxing, especially with the outdoor seating in the beautifully planted and bee-friendly garden. The host Susanne was also super helpful with everything from our arrival to any questions that we had while we were there. Cons: Nothing to complain!"

"We stopped for one night, and the kids loved it. The safe had a little game where they had to find clues to guess the safe combination to win a prize, which was great. Everything was clean and the shuttle bus service was great for getting to and from the theme park easily"

Hotel Boffenigo The Golden Hour

"The Hotel is in a beautiful location and first impressions are superb. There is a small plaque suggesting that’s it’s a boutique hotel where I would rate it less so. It lacks such detail and finesse. Our family room for four was inadequate in terms of a small sofa bed. They should have family suites. The staff are all happy yet they could do with more training and again finesse on the personal service side - particularly at the restaurant where we felt ignored at times. The younger staff being better than those above them. The reception staff were great. The restaurant has a limited menu and is expensive, so most opt for the cheaper yet delicious pizzas. No pasta or salad to choose from and the other dishes are very small. There is no real, cozy/elegant/boutique bar area, just one that is an unmanned, used to service the restaurant. Breakfast is amazing but again, the breakfast area could be so much more homely and elegant - airing boutique. There is a shuttle to town but nothing late so you have to get a taxi back which isn’t easy or great. I would try another hotel in the same area again first but would definitely go back. It would be great to see these improvements to give it a higher rate and review."

"This was my second time to stay at this hotel. The location is great - it’s a few minutes walk from the arena. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is of good quality with lots of choices. However, the small single room I had on this visit was extremely expensive. While I understand that prices increase when the opera is on - €315.00 (inclusive of taxes and city taxes) is very high for such a tiny room. I didn’t even get a complementary bottle of water even though the weather was extremely hot. There was also a small issue as the soap dispenser in my room was broken - it was lying in the sink. It took two visits to the room to repair this while I waited in reception. I did appreciate being given a coffee while I waited. I will certainly look at other hotels on my next visit to Verona if the hotel is this expensive. I do plan to visit again as I thoroughly enjoyed the opera at such a historic venue."
