There's absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel any bad reviews are based on somebody not knowing what they're doing correctly. This place is just fine no frills good bed.Also nice and quiet.,,,,😃😃

The staff is extremely nice and helpful. They really go out of their way to make sure guests have everything they need. The property is older so the rooms do have some character, it's kind of like a 60's 70's vibe. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are a decent size. There's WiFi available and shopping centers nearby within walking distance. There are some dining options as well... Over all its a good quiet area despite being close to S. Dixie highway. A little pricey but over all a good place to stay.

A-1 Budget Motel is a winner

This small budget hotel is clean, quiet and economically priced. It is Conveniently located and has adequate parking. There are no frills like free breakfast, but plenty of options are nearby. The rooms are recently and nicely updated with wood floors, fresh paint and clean new tile in the bathroom. A walk in shower was a nice bonus for this person who hates a tub type shower! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small but adequate, especially if you are planning to be gone for most of the day and only need the room for a relaxing place at night.

Hotels.com Screwup

Hotels.com screwed up our reservation that we paid for but the hotel never received. The staff was cordial and allowed us to have the rooms as they waited 2 days for Hotel.com approval. We were evacuating hurricane Milton and were lucky to reserve these rooms. We did not like the anxiety caused by this hotels.com error.

Expedia should be ashamed to be associated with any Eastern Indian named Patel. What are you people, 9 year olds? Patels want to buy and operate all low end motels. Grow up. More to come. My nephews and children can get on social media about this property specifically and expedia generally.

Booked this hotel on hotels.com and when I got there my room wasn’t even available when online it said booked. Then the guy said we have no rooms for a whole month so I had to drive around for 40 mins looking for somewhere else to stay

ABSOLUTELY NASTY CUSTOMER SERVICE

I reserved a room and paid on hotels.com. It was confirmed and when we arrived at the place the receptionist said that the room was not available anymore. The room was sold to someone who walked in after we reserved and paid for it. We were offered a room that was smoking small and unkept. Very uncomfortable and nasty. The options we had were either we leave or take what she offered. It was very late, we had no choice than to stay in a room that was very nasty. The receptionist said that we had to take on with hotels.com for a refund…ABSOLUTELY THE WOST NIGHT EVER😡😡😡😡

GOOD PRICE FOR A GOOD ROOM

I did not have high hopes for this Motel but it was actually not a bad stay. The first room they gave us was a smoking room but they switched us when we mentioned it. They also allowed us to change from 1 king to 2 doubles since plans changed and we had to bring our kids with us. the room was clean, no sign of insects and the bathroom was remodeled. US 1 is close but it wasn't obnoxiously loud. The a/c worked great as did the fridge and microwave.

we placed in the back, room 22, there was no #s on the door, rm. still needed work around the frames both doors. The bath rm. had the trash can under the back of toilet to catch water from the pipes. Then bed had bugs, called manager Sarjay Ppatel showed the bugs and my bites. he stated " that they were palmatto bugs and that this was Fla." He then came back with the police we showed them the bugs.I requested another rm. he stated "They were full". did not get much sleep after that. had requested a 06 wake up call didn't get it and didn't need it. When I checked out @ 07 went right to walmart brought bed bug spray and sparyed everything down .My night there was VERY BAD.. fal
