This property is not what is shown in the Expedia listings. It is very run down and in exceptionally poor condition. Take note this is not a hotel but a managed condo facility so the front desk staff are unable to handle any real issues. Security is exceptionally poor, locking door does not fully close and anyone can access the property. We checked in on a Sunday and abandoned the rest of the stay as the place was uninhabitable. None of the windows work and even if they did they were so old plastic wrap would have done a better job. Avoid this place at all costs. It’s a dive.

What everyone says about this property is simply wrong. I just stayed here for five nights and six days over spring break and it was amazing! The staff was nice and accommodating. The room was clean and balcony was great with a nice view of the ocean. The location is what sets this property apart from the others! You are right across the beach and walking distance to restaurants, shops, clubs, etc. The rooftop pool and bar was a huge hit. Checking in and out was a breeze! What people are saying about the noise and not getting fresh towels is not true. My group and I did not have an issue falling asleep and if you need anything all you have to do is ask before 2pm! I highly recommend staying at the Congress.

The worst experience ive ever had snd i travel a lot. Instead of a 1 bedroom suite ocean view that i booked 3 months ago, i got a 2 twin bed room and when i complained. They blamed expedia for sending an incorrect room category!! When we get to hotel after a long day and ask for toilet paper and new towels, they said the housekeeping closes at 5pm. The sheets in the room have dirt spots and there were makeups under the bed and bed was about to fall. New but not assembled well. Horrible stay. Placed a big dent to our vacation! The only good part is Greg, the bell attendant who is very nice and sympathetic to our situation. Otherwise DONT stay in this hotel

Horrible experience! Beware of this hotel.

Unfriendly staff at front desk. Water puddle in front door when entering room from a leak from either sink or refrigerator. A humming sound so loud in room from some kind of a/c air handler that the floor vibrated because the room was directly under it! They should be ashamed to even rent that room with that constant noise. And when I asked the front desk she said they are booked up and there was nothing she could do because I booked through a third party app. I called hotel.com and they transferred me to the reservations person and they tried to call the desk and they didn’t answer so she said that she would send an email and that’s all she could do. I was very disappointed in both the hotel and in hotel.com

We had to cancel two days before arrival due to Covid. While the page clearly states that they offer flexible booking and cancellation during this time, that was not the case. Expedia states it is not refundable, calls and emails to the hotel go unanswered - they never answer their phone! What hotel business does that? I ended up disputing the charge with the credit card company. Beware! I've seen other reviews stating the same issue.

The property is small and nice, located in the prime location. The rooms are specious and well equipped. However, the entrance to the hotel is pretty confusing. Administration should work on that for guests to have easy checkin.

We had two rooms reserved for two nights. Our room (505) was in decent condition and the size of the room was really great. We had two beds and a futon. All were decent to sleep on. My older kids had the other room (305) and it was terrible. The room had not been cleaned upon arrival. There was poop on the shower and used towels hanging up. The front desk was informed and did come clean the room immediately. The futon in that room was hard as a rock. We did like that when we walked out of the hotel the beach was directly across the street. The hotel is right next to a main show so there was a lot of activity late into the night.

Ok, the property is above the Palace, so there's lots of noise and partying until midnight or so. Noise didn't bother us, but if you're planning on a quiet evening, maybe not. The room was large, can easily handle 3 people in the jr. suite, large refrigerator, micro, dishwasher, etc. Ikea like furnishings and not great quality consistent with Ikea, some drawers didn't slide smoothly, etc. Drain plug missing from the bathroom sink, no major deficits. Had a deep soaking tub with shower, fwiw. Two of the front desk people were good, one clueless, consistent with most of South Beach right now - we had problems with untrained staff all over. We didn't get housekeeping and were satisfied with the number and type of accoutrements for the time frame. Overall a good stay.

Muy buen ubicado, comodidades, con salvedades.

La habitación contaba con kitchenet, al cocinar en dos dias aparecieron cucarachitas. Estaría bueno que dejaran utensilios para limpiar, un detergente, esponja y algún repasador. La tostadora no funcionaba. El baño tiene poca luz. Internet había poca o nula señal. El resto en general muy bien. Cama amplia cómoda, muchas toallas disponibles. La música del bar de entrada se escucha bastante.

I tried getting to the property in my car on a Friday night, and could not even get there to drop off my family and luggage. There was no parking within a mile. Expedia literally allowed us to book a hotel we could not even get to.

AWESOME Bell Service

Henderson the bells service gentlemen was AWESOME! He came down two blocks got my luggage and took it up to my room. The elevator was done and ocean drive was packed. He made it happen with a gracious demeanor and some laughs along the way. No cash…no problem! I found Henderson the next day and gave him a time for his generosity. The hotel is next to Palace Drag Bar…the hottest thing on Oceam Drive. Needless to say it was LIVE…LOUD…no day time naps. All in all I can’t complain my stay was nice and the bell service beat the Four Seasons…OKAY!

Wir waren sehr früh dran und konnten noch nicht ins Zimmer, alles ok. Als wir dann um 21:00 Uhr zurückkamen war die Rezeptionistin sehr unfreundlich und wir mussten sage und schreibe 4 mal zurückkommen um eine funktionierende Zimmerkarte zu bekommen. Das Zimmer zu dem wir die ersten beiden Mal geschickt wurden war bereits bewohnt.

This was perfect for our girls trip! There was a leak in the ceiling of the bathroom and a light was out in the bathroom. Other than that it was perfect! Be sure to ask for towels early in the day because they don’t have housekeepers on site all day. The location and cleanliness was on point! The rooftop pool was legit! Beautiful!

Firstly the first night the room was infested with roaches went to the front desk the guy was very rude and didn't help at all and we didn't sleep because of the situation. Second day was moved to another room went out only to come back and find our room door open, went to the front desk they advised it was room cleaning who left the door open which is very unprofessional.
