"We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. "This was our first stay at the hotel and we were not disappointed. The views are spectacular and our room was very nice. We had a superior sea view room and it was very clean with good facilities. The food was excellent and we chose to eat in the restaurant both days. The staff were all lovely, very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend"

Great Western Hotel

"The great western is updating rooms . We got a family room that was newly renovated and it was beautifully done, we had a sea view and street view. There was a misunderstanding on my booking but staff were very helpful and sorted it all out. The hotel has limited parking but you have the option to prebook a space. We struggled with our Irish phone to book parking at the train station as it wouldn't download the app. The breakfast menu had plenty of choice. We were only passing through so did not spend anytime in Newquay."
