Spacious, rural apt w/outdoor amenities - close to Shipshewana and Toll Road

Enjoy a comfortable retreat in Amish country! This is a 2nd story apartment in a separate shop/building away from the house. This new apartment has great views and is ideal for privacy and relaxation. We offer free wifi.

Bedroom: There is a large bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, an alarm clock with a noise machine, and USB outlets to charge your electronics.

Bathroom: The bathroom is fully stocked with shampoo, body wash, a hairdryer and plenty of plush towels/washcloths for your stay. There is a walk in shower. No bathtub.

Living Room: The living room is furnished with 2 full size sofas, one of them being queen hide-a-bed with a new memory foam mattress. There is a 55” LG Smart TV with access to popular local and cable channels. You will also be able to access your own streaming services such at Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, etc. We have also provided games, puzzles and books for your enjoyment.

Kitchen: Fully furnished kitchen with a refrigerator, countertop convection oven (Extra large interior accommodates 2 16 inches pizzas), microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker, mixer and popcorn popper, along with pots, pans and utensils. NOTE: There is no stove.

Laundry: There is an iron/ironing board. There is no laundry available in this space.

Backyard: Our backyard has wide open spaces to for you to enjoy. We have a newly installed pergola, firepit with chairs, swing, and hammock for the ultimate relaxing experience. Your kids are welcome to make use of the trampoline. Feel free to walk around the yard. We may be working outside/in the garden and would love to chat with you, but we also want to give you the privacy you want. We have a few friendly Golden Retrievers, but their fence does not allow them access to the front door of the apartment. If you come into the yard however, they will be more than happy to greet you.

You will be less than 5 minutes from Middlebury which boasts Das Dutchman Essenhaus restaurant, the Pumpkinvine bike trail, 15 minutes from Shipshewana which is known for its Flea Market, shops and Blue Gate Theater; 25 minutes from some great shopping centers in Goshen; and being located just minutes from the toll road, only 45 minutes from Notre Dame.

Amazing place with very peaceful setting...the host was very accomodating and the dogs they had were so loving and sweet...my grand daughters agree we hsve to book this place every time we "come home"

We were given great directions, quiet place to stay. The place was very clean. One thing was you can't change thermostat. Thermosta may be in another unit. Overall excellent stay and great location.

Quick 3 days away

The property was nice, we stayed there before only on the bottom level which we like better. It just wasnt available this time. It was clean and we like the location because it close to what we want to do in that area.

Great home base

BFF shopping excursion and fun. This was a great place to make into our home base. This was a wonderfully clean and well stocked space. Our host was amazingly fast at replying to any questions I had. Thank you for providing a quiet space.

Mom's Day Getaway

The place was very clean. It was a little hard to find as we were directed to look for a "shop", then park at a flag (which wasn't there), told to enter a "shop" door (which looked like a house door. Perhaps "shop" is what we call a garage? The owner did not answer or return my calls. The sofa bed is not very comfortable. There was a set of bunk beds that weren't listed, so you could possibly sleep six. It was a reasonable distance from both Middlebury and Shipshewana so that was handy.

Family Visit

The apartment was awesome-so very clean, comfortable and inviting. We had a wonderful stay and rested so very well every night. The owner had snacks and plenty of coffee available. Our favorite place to stay

We visit this area often and this is by far our favorite place to stay. Always clean and love the coffee selection! There was lots of room for our little one to play and it was definitely kid friendly and safe! We enjoyed making a blanket fort in the living room and loved reading the kid books provided by host. The property owners dogs are super friendly and our daughter loved seeing them. Highly recommend this rental!!
