"This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...
"A top-class accommodation. Everything was perfect and worked perfectly. The beds were comfortable and it was clean and tidy. Cozy interior, good information and well organized. Very good Wi-Fi and fully equipped kitchen and accommodation. Can really be recommended. Perfect!"
"Very friendly and welcoming place to stay, excellent food and beer and accommodation, great base for visiting the many Yorkshire Dale Villages and towns. "
"This is a really nice, out-of-the-way place. It is part of a working farm but is very quiet indeed. The owner (Jane) is very attentive and a very good cook (the breakfast was particularly excellent). If you're looking for some peace, and some old-fashioned hospitality, this is a really great option."

"The pub family couldn’t have been more helpful, kind and generous. I had all sorts of car troubles and they went out of their way to be helpful. Thanks ever so much."
"A fantastic warm welcome. Beautiful room with everything we needed. The care put into the room was evident in all the personal details that ensured a comfortable stay. Bed soft and linen gorgeous. Horsey paintings added to the ambience as racehorses trotted by the window! Soothing and relaxing! Breakfast was the best ever in a b n b. Hostess Sharon made us feel like friends. Our dog loved it too!"
"3 adults staying for a short break. Comfy beds, everything we needed (dishwasher would have been great but no idea where it could have fitted in). It’s a compact cottage but we didn’t feel we were getting in easy other’s way. The location was so good as we looked out over the castle and it was only a short walk to several good pubs -we had an excellent Sunday lunch at The Tack Room and staff were so friendly -plus great beer-in the Richard 111 pub. Loved watching the horses going past on their way to and from the gallops. Lots of lovely walking done as the weather was kind to us.
We would stay here again without a doubt."
"Lovely stay, staff are so welcoming and can not do enough for you.
It has a very 'horsey' theme throughout which is cute.
We had a meal on the first evening and the homemade pie was gorgeous.
Breakfast was average, and nothing much for vegetarians.
Lovely location. We would definitely stay again.

"I would definitely stay here again. Our host Sarah was wonderful, and the breakfast was possibly the nicest cooked breakfast we have had.
The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely comfortable bed. "
