"Nice room, albeit quite small, overlooking the main square. The breakfast was very good and all the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Parking is on the square outside the property, come early on a Saturday as the square gets very busy."

"I booked a twin room which was clean and a good size. The mattress on my bed was very uncomfortable so I swoped it with the pull out bed underneath our bed. The mattress was smaller than the original mattress and was too small for the base but it was very comfortable, a good mattress. I didn’t mention this to the staff at the hotel. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work efficiently but otherwise excellent. The meals were very good and delicious."

"Nice big property in centre of Middleham - gateway to Wensleydale. Large rooms sleeping up to 6 and large social kitchen area. The gem is the garden offset from house which is a sun trap all day long, We were lucky with weather and made full use of this ! Recommended property."

"Lovely quiet area. Nice that there's only four lodges. Wild life is fabulous.The lodge has everything you need for your stay, plus the added bonus of TVs in the bedrooms.Great that there is no mobile phone signal, so it's very relaxing even though there is internetNot too far into Masham for groceries.Our only criticism is, and it's personal preference, is that the sofas are a bit to low for us.The dog loved watching the rabbits and squirrels.Will visit again"

"Very happy with The Paddock overall. However, I rang your office on the Friday to let them know ow the fire alarm outside the bedrooms had been keeping during the night and I was concerned as it was a safety risk if not working. I was told they would contact the local office in Yorkshire dales and I would receive a call on my mobile from them. I left the cottage on Sunday 17 Nov and had received no call. I was most upset as the fire alarm being in working order and ring checked out is very important. My call had bee ignored and this is a safety concern for the next occupants."
