"Pros - clean, modern, and well maintained. Cons - pillows in room are extremely too flat and hard. Restaurant staff service was horrible on both occasions that I went there. Apparently there was a lack of staff to handle the workload and the wait for service was unacceptable. I would stay here again though but eat somewhere else."

"Paul's house was in a wonderful part of Minneapolis. Very walkable. A great choice of restaurants and food shopping options. The apartment was very clean and quite comfortable. The king-size bed was VERY comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower worked well -- plenty of hot water. Paul was very responsive to any questions. Our only suggestions are: (1) replace the hightop table and chairs with some with normal height (high tops, in our "senior" opinion are very difficult to get into and be comfortable in over time); (2) have a comfortable chair someplace (the futon in the guest room was not comfortable to sit in to watch television) and it was the only piece of furniture in the room; (3) the motion sensors in the bathroom would benefit from a manual override -- lights tended to go off when showering and went blindingly on when using the bathroom to pee in the middle of the night; (4) there was a wash machine and dryer, but no detergent was supplied which, for a traveler, doesn't make sense because I wouldn't go out to buy detergent for a short stay; and (5) while there was a dishwasher we washed all dishes by hand because, while I think there were "pods" of dishwasher detergent under the sink, they weren't labeled and didn't want to use them in case they were actually laundry detergent."

"Pretty amazing what they done with this church, making it into a livable space. Very cool. And it’s HUGE. Plenty of room. Great spots for photo shoots. It was an unusually hot summer for Minneapolis. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was insufficient. There were box fans that made the stay tolerable. I was very close to purchasing window unit air conditioners and just leaving them there for the next guests because man it was too hot! Other than that this place is top notch."

"The property was close to restaurants, entertainment and a lake for walking. We have stayed at several private places in the Twin Cities and this was the most we paid. It was very nice but I think a little pricey. That doesn't mean we wouldn't stay there again but we'd think hard about it. The one thing we would have liked more of were bigger towels. Overall it contributed to a very nice vacation."

"Property was really cool. We loved the speak-easy feel and the basement where we played games. There was lots of space to hang out, and the air conditioners in each of the rooms made up for no central cooling. There were plenty of things nearby for us to see. Everything was tidy, and while the house was older, nothing seemed to be catastrophically wrong. Would recommend this property to future patrons."
