"Very relaxed stay. Short walk from station or book a taxi for a small fee if you have luggage. Ruriko-in temple and Mt Hiei cable car station is very close with lots of hiking and walking trails. Dinner was very nice and staff were super friendly. Special thanks to Hotel Manager Mr Koichi and all staff for making our stay an enjoyable one."

"An exceptional stay from start to finish. Gracious hospitality, a true time capsule with updates in all the right places. The japanese breakfast every day was truly memorable, and the coffee shop on the property was beautiful as well. I could not recommend more, 10/10 stay, worth the price! "Good stay, for the price it was a great find. The room was nice but needed maintenance in terms of paint/carpet other than that it was very clean. It has a nice very view, our favorite part was the location. It was a walkable distance to many things in Kyoto. Nishiki Market is one notable space and Kawaramachi-dori Street. Easy access to bus stations and train stations. Would recommend. "
