Good hotel with renovated rooms and not noisy area

I was in Milano for 2 days, and this hotel stop was very good, in terms of price - vallue - quality, the room in the 8th floor was renovated and confortable. The area was not much noisy so it was great to rest

Everybody was nice and friendly even the housekeeping crew. The hotel isn’t in the city centre but the hotel is across the street from a bus stop and a train line so you can get everywhere very easily. A 24 hour metro pass is only 7€. This hotel was amazing and should/could easily be a 4.5-5 star hotel

Clean, comfortable, cozy stay

We came to Hotel Astoria for one night to see Taylor Swift in Milan. Check-in was quick. AC worked great and was nice and cool throughout the night. The bed was comfy and the bathtub was spacious. We'd definitely stay here again, but it is far outside the center of Milan, so unless you need to be in San Siro I'd find elsewhere.

Took over an hour for check in

I dont know why i even booked this hotel. For some reason i thought it was closer to the city centre. But its over an hour away. Plus the area is pretty sketchy. When i finally found this place, there was over 20 people surrounding the front desk and yelling about the bed mixups. I had to wait for over an hour as the employee tried to straighten everything out. I only had 1 day in milan so the length of time it took me to find this hotel, plus the long wait time to check in made my 1 day in milan a waste. Best part is when they finally checked me in they kept reminding me that i dont get the breakfast in the morning. Good to know. Then they spent a considerable amount of time trying to convince me to buy the breakfast option. Maybe they should be offering such things for free when they inconvenience their guests this much. These companies are getting greedier and greedier. Never again would i go here.

Reception staff really friendly and helpful in providing directions and recommendations. Open 24/7 which was perfect as we were at a late wedding. There is a tram stop (16) 5 min walk from hotel which takes you to San Siro and also the central location so perfect for travelling around. The room was compact and clean. Would be improved by having a firmer pillow but the shower was amazing. Good to have tea and coffee facilities. We didn’t have breakfast as we did our own thing. We’d happily stay here again - perfect for a city break.

Clean comfortable room's, well equipped bathrooms and complimentary tea and coffee making facility in the room. Lifts to all floors. Breakfast available, though no other restaurant facilities. There is however a supermarket next-door and my room had a fridge so that's a bonus. 10 minute walk from the tube or get the 91 bus in either direction. Very helpful staff.
