Running Back Roost - Swimming Pool, Fenced in, & More!

"Great property, felt right at home! We were there for a baseball tournament, and it was a great place to come back to for a rest between games. We especially loved the outdoor area in the backyard though we didn't get to swim as much as we would have liked due to a lot of rain but it was very roomy on the covered back patio so we were still able to hang out outside. The host took very good care of us, too, complete with a welcome basket of snacks and then mailing back an item we left behind."

"Very clean and comfortable stay! The only thing I would say is that it has a claw footed tub so if you have issues with your knees it may be a challenge to take a shower. This isn’t a negative but just some helpful info. Would definitely stay again."

"The house was great for our family gathering. It was very clean and comfortable. The property on the lake is gorgeous with a beautiful and expansive lawn. We enjoyed using the kayak that was provided. It's in a very quiet neighborhood with not much traffic so walking around the area felt safe even though there are no sidewalks. The location was ideal for us, as it is close to both historic Northport and downtown Tuscaloosa and the University. The house was easy to find but if you arrive after dark, the first time down the driveway might be challenging given the steep grade. There were plenty of parking spaces for several cars. Definitely recommend!"

"This was a perfect place to stay for us. Plenty of room for everybody to sit at the table and eat, spend time together and plenty of beds for everybody to sleep. The arcade was so much fun, with the pool table and the TVs all in the same area for family fun. Thank you so much."

"What a great place to stay when coming to spend time at the University of Alabama! We stayed at the house to attend our daughter's graduation and the home is beautiful! The Host was communicative and easy to work with. The home was clean and had great space to spend time together both inside and on the screened porch. It is in a convenient location to both stores and restaurants in Northport and a quick trip to campus for any and all UA events. Would definitely stay again!"
