"I arrived after 5pm and had not realised Sykes cottages were dealing with the property. It took me two hours to get in because of email issues and also no one to get hold of after hours from Sykes. This needs looking into. The property itself was well worth the hassle I had been through and I will definitely go back for a second visit. It was clean and very quiet. Only issue was recycling I didn’t know what went where. Maybe a sheet telling you what to do. But apart from this would recommend."

"We stayed at Shap Wells for 1 night to meet up with Friends. We had a problem with our room, Staff were excellent, swapped rooms 👍 We had an Evening Meal, 3 courses, which was lovely and Breakfast was delicious. The Hotel is quite remote, nothing around for miles, but we had our car to travel out."
