Traditional Lakeland Hideaway Cottage for two, close to the Lakes and Dales

Pear Tree Barn is a wonderful example of a traditional detached property that has been cleverly transformed to create a cosy holiday retreat for two. It is a superb choice for couples looking for that romantic getaway and for spending precious time together in quality surroundings. The accommodation is small but perfectly formed with carefully chosen accessories to create a stylish, contemporary look.
Two minutes drive from Junction 36 of the M6, with easy access to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The local market town of Kendal and the popular village of Kirkby Lonsdale are only a short drive away. There is a village shop in the fuel station quarter of a mile away.
The property has its own parking space and patio with outdoor seating.
Across the lane is the popular Crooklands Hotel with a lovely restaurant or bar meals and local ales in the snug.

Absolutely loved this cottage! Its small and cozy, just as described! Clean, very modern with everything we needed! The pub is literally next door, great food and lovely country vibe! Would recommend if you are looking for a cozy stay for two! Will definitely book again! Xx

The house is small but had everything we needed to make it perfect. The owner has thought of everything to make our stay a home from home and the location was ideal for everywhere we wanted to visit plus there’s a hotel next door that does lovely meals but you have to book in advance because it’s very popular. Really enjoyed our stay.

The property was perfect for two people exploring the local area. Crooklands hotel next door was great for easy food and a restful pub after a long walking day. But if you want dinner make sure you book. Couldn’t recommend the property more highly.

Once again Emma provided us w8th all that we could have asked for, from booking out atay to communication throughout until we arrived. The accommodation is just ideal for what we wanted and remembered from last year. Just spent a wonderful weekend near the Lakes, Pear Tree Barn, Fantastic location for getting around,lovely canal walk, amazing pub 2 mins away from Barn. Pear Tree Barn,wonderful place to stay. You can sit and watch the birds whilst having a glass of Fizz, So much character in the Barn,everything you need for a cosy stay. Thankyou Emma. We will be back

Lovely property and accommodation was delightful. Beautiful location for exploring The Lakes and with a local pub/hotel a mere stones throw away it made for the perfect location for our mini break. Quiet and cozy place a short drive from the Lake District and with easy access to the motorway. Skylight in the bedroom provides just enough light. Kitchenette is nicely outfitted. Nice resturaunt and bar across the lane.
