"The hotel was lovely in a beautiful place and great views all round. We were upgraded which was great and the room was clean, great quality, comfortable and spacious. All the staff were very lovely and professional. The pool and sauna area was nice but I would say not to book this hotel for that as it was quite basic but a nice extra. We decided not to eat in either of the restaurants as they were both pretty expensive. One negative is there isn't really anything nearby in the way of shops or restaurants so you would have to drive for these. The breakfast was great though and we appreciated that the hot food was not a buffet but cooked fresh for each guest. Overall we had a lovely time and would love to come back again, we only stayed for one night and that didn't feel long enough!!"

"We arrived at the hotel & a warm welcome. Everyone was friendly & accommodating. We were especially happy with there knowledge of gluten free foods. The food was in a word Fantastic & plenty choices! A lovely place to stay with a walkin shower & nice seated area to enjoy the sun. "The staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food was very good. The hotel is very comfortable, well furnished and very quiet being a little remote. No outside noise and very little noise inside the hotel even with coach parties staying over. Looking forward to my next visit."

"Great stay beautiful hotel, staff were great. As a travel agent the only thing id personally expect is better amenities in the room such as coffee machine ect. I think for the price you pay for a room these could be an improvement. Everything else was great!"

"This hotel was in the heart of Bowness and Windermere. The staff on the whole were fantastic and friendly. The room we had was very spacious and comfortable with a brilliant view of the lake. Breakfast was as expected for £15 "

"Our room was very clean and spacious, housekeeping only came in when requested. Staff were friendly but the restaurant staff were not particularly friendly. Cooked breakfast was very good but the continental breakfast could be better for example the fruit salad was very green and would have been better if there had been some yogurt on the table. The bar was not staffed all the time so we had to find someone to get a drink on a couple of occasions. Lindeth Howe is an excellent hotel in a beautiful quiet location. We have no hesitation in recommending it to our friends."
