"Restaurant/bar closed at 7 pm. Restaurant served common bar food, burgers and similar, giving guests only option to leave the property for later dining."
"I stayed 1 night, room 220. Room was in perfect condition, everything work. The hotel could have been recently renovated, as everything seemed newish. Fit and finish on everything was good too (like no signs of short cuts on painting and such). Why is this important to me? Because it shows that someone actually cares about how the place looks.
Beds were comfy, AC unit had a wall control that was excellent. TV and Wifi worked perfectly. But the best part - the shower is something I will dream about. Not sure if it's supposed to be like this, but it was like a hot water fire hose. I can't imagine the water bill, but it's so worth it.
Will definitely stay here again in the future."
"Great budget stay. Just as the other reviews say, the room was clean, staff was super friendly, breakfast being delivered through a secret cubby right to our room was really neat! I look forward to staying here again when passing through State College in the future."
"This is my favorite hotel in State College and one of the most beautiful renovations for a local college hotel. The food is excellent, and the hotel service is always welcoming and efficient, the valet attendance are excellent, front desk team is terrific and very welcoming. Will is outstanding and helped me book my favorite room . The only drawback for business travelers that don’t have a lot of time— is that the breakfast is not easy to get to in the morning. The coffee shop is adorable. Unfortunately they never have enough staff or good training on how to keep lines flowing. They also just rearranged the coffee shop this past week and it looks absolutely terrible. It was so adorable and a comfort when you can’t make it to the sit down breakfast. The staff are always so kind but sometimes the line is 30 to 35 people deep just to get a cup of coffee! All the parents visiting order full meals and take their sweet time ordering complicated drinks. It’s so unbearable! I wish they would put out free coffee or offer a fast pick up line and get the staff help."
