This impressive 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath home is completetly updated from top to bottom. A bright, clean, comfortable home just steps from the beach access makes the perfect location to bring family and friends for a fun and relaxing beach getaway. Walk down to the famous Broadkill store to pick up fresh coffee and homemade doughnuts in the morning or grab a delicious deli sandwich and a milkshake for lunch! Each room is completely furnished with every amenity in order to make your stay convenient and comfortable.

The top floor boasts the main living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a ½ bathroom, the master bedroom suite, and two decks. The main living area is bright and beautifully decorated with 2 comfortable couches. One couch can fold out for extra sleeping accommodations if needed. French doors open up to the large main screened in porch that has plenty of seating and a grill that can be used for cookouts all year long. The kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops and every convenience of home, making it easy to whip up a tasty family breakfast, pack lunches for a day at the beach, or serve up the catch of the day! There are enough beds to comfortably sleep 7 guests. In addition to this, there is one fold- out couch and another couch in the downstairs living area which can accommodate a few more guests if needed. The large master bedroom suite contains a king size bed as well as a fold out couch allowing this room to accommodate up to four guests. The stunning on suite bathroom has a beautiful shower and a large linen closet that holds towels, linens, and other luxuries you may need to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Off the master suite is a second deck with seating for two that overlooks the Primehook National Wildlife Refuge. Catch a glimpse of the local birds and other wildlife while sipping your morning coffee on the deck.

The bottom floor offers another living area, two more bedrooms, a full bath, and the laundry room. Bedroom two is a beautifully decorated room with a full size bed that can accommodate up to two guests. Bedroom three is a bright, spacious bedroom which has one full size bed and one twin size bed allowing this room to accommodate up to three guests. The bottom floor living area includes a very comfortable couch and a flat screen TV perfect for curling up and relaxing with a movie or a good book.

Outside is a fully functioning outdoor shower to clean off the sand from a fun day at the beach. The house is on a corner lot which provides plenty of space for parking multiple cars. Bring your family, friends, and family dog for a retreat they will never forget. A vacation at Broadkill Beach is a one of a kind experience! Begin your day walking your dog on the beach searching for shells, horse shoe crabs, and other natural sights and end it with your family and friends enjoying music, great conversation, and a bonfire on the beach!

This was our first time staying in Broadkill & it certainly didn’t disappoint! This house is the perfect location from the beach. It had everything & more that we enjoyed. From beach toys, to beach chairs, to the screened in deck, to the large dining space. It was the perfect stay to conclude summer with our siblings.

We’ve stayed at this property before and as always, it’s such a pleasure. Everything was clean and your bedding and towels are included, which is such a HUGE help and convenience. The screened in porch is perfect to be able to enjoy the fresh air without getting eaten alive by the gnarly mosquitoes and flies. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

My family had a wonderful vacation at this house. The walk to the beach was very short which was ideal for us (and our baby and dog). The screened-in porch was fabulous, especially when the flies were out in force. The beach was wide open and beautiful. The property managers thought of every amenity!

Everything at "Seas the Day" was carefully thought of; from the decor, to the amenities, to the warm and comfortable feel of the cottage. Nothing was left to chance. It is literally a very short walk to the beach. This was the most enjoyable and relaxing time we have had in a while. For sure, we will be back again soon! HIGHLY Recommended! Thank you!

I have rented beach houses in hawaii, California , OBX and have to saw that STD was very accommodating and comfortable. The extras like nice beach chairs, paddle boards, great screened in porch and outdoor shower, along with a variety of toiletries were greatly appreciated. It’s a charming well stocked beach house!!

Well stocked and so easy to get to the beach. We've done several rentals in Broadkill. Price is about right for this offering. We really liked the new/unopened board games and beach gear. My main issue with this one was that it could have been cleaner and had a bit of that funky smell that is probably from high humidity. We had an issue at the outset but owner was very responsive.

We have all stayed in many VRBO apartments and houses both in the states and Europe. This one was by far the best we've had the pleasure in staying in. It was equipped with everything and more than we expected. The house itself is incredibly comfortable, especially the screened in porch. And the extras, like the Shibumi, the binoculars, even provided sheets and towels, made the stay that much better. This has nothing to do with the house but fellow, renters, bring bug spray and possibly long sleeved shirts and pants to ward off the jellyfish. But again, it was the perfect vacation.

We just returned from our week in Broadkill Beach. We have been coming here for years, but this was our first year staying at this house. We loved staying here...we were all very comfortable, the house was very clean and included many nice touches (things you could easily forget at home or forget to buy), and we loved being able to travel with our aging dogs! We used to own a house in nearby Milton, and would cross Coastal Highway to come enjoy nature at this quiet bay beach ALL the time! We miss our house very much, so we were thrilled to feel like we were almost "home" here! Communication with the owners was easy and definitely a plus...we hope to be back next year!!!

My family and I have been coming to DE for our beach vacation for years - so, we look forward to this trip for months! And, this year did not disappoint! We love this area and being in a quiet neighborhood off the beaten path - enjoying nature and just relaxing. This house is cute, comfortable and clean - with many items that you might forget to bring provided for you! The owners are friendly and very responsive, too. Our only complaint this year (through NO fault of the owners) was the surrounding construction during our stay. Renovations next door made parking difficult, but that was manageable. The hardest thing for our poor puppy, though, was new construction across the street! This involved the installation of over 20 support beams - with the pounding involved scaring her so much that she NEVER wanted to go outside! This area is part of a nature preserve, so construction will be limited (thankfully!). Beyond our pup's emotional state, we really enjoyed our third stay at Seas The Day!

The location of the home was perfect and many days we almost had the beach to ourselves. The house was very clean and fit our family well and the screened in porch was perfection. The home does have WiFi and a washer and dryer, but the WiFi signal was very weak and did not reach the lower front bedroom and the washer overflowed the one time that I ran it. I reached out to the owner and they were very quick to respond, but unfortunately the only resolution that was presented was to wash very small loads as there seems to be an issue with the drain that can't be addressed until after the summer. We didn't want to spend our vacation watching the washer just in case it overflowed again, so we chose to wait and do laundry when we got home. That was a bummer since one of the perks of renting a house with a washer/dryer is to save yourself that work when you arrive home. Overall we did enjoy our stay and were glad to close out our summer here.

Pros: The property was clean and had everything we needed for a great week at the beach (chairs, paddle board, sun shade, kitchen had all the essentials, plenty of linens and blankets). The screened in porch was perfect for eating family dinners. The beach itself was so quite with gentle waves, which was great for the 3 yr old in our family. It was really was a beautiful property and just steps from the beach. The owner was extremely responsive as well. Considerations We found was the third room with queen bed was pretty tight and had a giant pole next to bed that was easy to run into. The master bedroom had a barn door that didn’t close properly and left about a 2 in gap on the side. This made it hard when the toddler took naps because it was on the same floor as kitchen and main living area (though the provided white noise machine helped!) WiFi is kind of spotty, wouldn’t necessarily rely on it if you have to work. These were small things though and we were able to make things work and had a very enjoyable week :)

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. The proximity to beach access was a plus for two families with three toddlers. The only negative was the temporarily broken washer, however, Micah did communicate this with us ahead of time, so we knew we needed to pack some more items. We would definitely return. Thanks for a fun-filled week!

A lovely place on Broadkill beach that had everything you could ask for! We loved the enclosed front porch and ate almost every meal there. It’s also close enough to get to Lewes and Rehoboth. Thank you for making our week on the Delaware bay an enjoyable one!
