I like Milton Keynes a lot. Its big enough to be a city but small enough to not have the big city vibe. Everything is 20 minutes away from any place, and getting around is a breeze (in your own car). The 100 or so round abouts are my only peeve.

It's just a nice, pleasant and peaceful place to visit. People tend to be more friendly and relaxed here then in Birmingham. I enjoy doing a city break here away from Birmz for all the above positives

We went to the theatre and shopping so it was convenient within walking distance. We came on the bus which was also convenient as it dropped us off a very short walk away

Visited Bletchley Park which was excellent, although it was a little difficult to find , not all the roundabouts had the brown signs necessary
"My first room the air con was not working or the tv - went to ask if maintenance could help and was just instantly upgraded.
Fab service - although someone did walk in to our room at 10:30 thinking it was empty !"

"Initial room was unsuitable for our needs, as booked, but thanks to Natalia whose professional outlook actually found a suitable room, our stay was enjoyable although breakfast prices were beyond our budget so we ate offsite .
