"Our host, Joshua, was fantastic! He communicated everything necessary in a timely manner and the few times I had a question, he responded within minutes and was warm and welcoming always. The house was lovely and comfortable. It felt very spacious while also feeling cozy. My son definitely enjoyed having his own “apartment” on the second floor. That’s its own space with a bed, bathroom and living area with a TV and a door to close yourself off from the downstairs. He was in heaven. The yard was lush and green and huge. We could have played a football game on it. And there was a very nice patio out back with a grill, a fire pit and a table and chairs.The area is great! We loved the beach, it was beautiful, and the trail near the house. And we found some great paces to eat nearby.All-in-all it was a great trip and we will definitely be returning to Lewes and Joshua’s Coastal Cottage."

"This cottage was absolutely lovely and incredibly charming! Having the secondary cottage on the same property was the perfect setup for travelling with family. The attention to detail was phenomenal; little signs that described how to use the showers, which cabinet doors were permanently fixed so you knew not to try to open them, recommendations on plugging in one appliance at a time so the breaker doesn't trip, etc. We had a fantastic experience and the location was amazing! Nannette (the host) was extremely responsive and helpful, even recommended things for us to do with our kiddos. Would definitley stay here again!"

"Carrie was super responsive and took care of our every request. Her cottage was adorable and very well stocked with kitchen appliances and cooking needs. Bedrooms had extra linens, blankets. Super nice. And dog bowls and blankets! Beach was very natural and not crowded. Carrie provides beach chairs, too. Super close to walk to the beach."

"We highly enjoyed our stay at Blue Haven. It is the loveliest home we have spent time in at Broadkill Beach or the surrounding area so far. The rooms are clean and spacious and the hosts thought of everything we may have needed.The walk to the bay/beach was very short so we could spend lots of time out in the sun, enjoying the bay. The outdoor shower was very helpful for keeping the sand out. I hope to spend more time next summer!"
