"Very peaceful, quiet setting, just what we wanted. The cottage was spacious, clean, and well equipped. Both bedrooms were lovely. The owners responded to emails quickly and were very helpful with whatever we needed. We really enjoyed our stay here. "

"A spacious, very comfortably furnished large house. Extremely well facilitated kitchen with a beautiful, old wooden dining table. Views to die for! Minor points: GF bedroom off the dining area needs blackout curtains and its bathroom needs frosted glass."

"The property is well situated for exploring Exmoor, both on foot and by car. A short walk takes you to Exford where there are 2 pubs and a teashop(the hub for star gazing nights on a Thursday). There is also a fantastic playground on the green. We were welcomed with home baked bread, spreads and a delicious cake. The cottage has everything, even towels for our dog. "We have stayed at the cottage several times and we love it! The cottage is immaculate. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, even a towel in the porch for muddy dog paws. The weather was mixed but we managed to go walking every day. Walked up to North Hill and saw some lovely Exmoor ponies and our dog loved playing on Dunster beach. We will definitely be back."

"Had a lovely stay in this cosy cottage. Everything we needed was provided. Very pretty area. Pub and small shop in walking distance but not maybe with young kids. Great for a couple of nights away and base for exploring Exmoor."

"Farm is quite remote but beautifully situated 1200 feet above the Bristol Channel. Very roomy and charming. Very comfortable facilities and lovely, helpful hosts. Fresh eggs for breakfast from the friendly chickens! A bench overlooking the sea for our happy hour, wonderful walks to interesting and ancient places. Lots of wildlife - deer, pheasant, grouse, wild ponies up on the nearby moor. We'd love to return."

"The cottage was perfect for our short stay in March 2024. Very cosy, peaceful, warm and well appointed accomodation in a lovely rural location.The hosts Chris and Freya were very friendly and on hand if required."

"Valley Cottage is set in beautiful countryside in the village of Withypool. The property is in need of some updating but the kitchen is well equipped although dining table a little small for six adults. Local pub within walking distance as is tea room and local shop/post office."

"Fantastic place to stay...it was clean, spacious and had great sea views. Within a short walk was the sea and places to eat and drink. We would return. Perfect getaway."

"Luccombe Cottage ist einfach traumhaft - wunderschönes Ferienhaus in traumhafter Lage. Es war alles blitzsauber und liebevoll vorbereitet. Allein der Blick aus dem Fenster jeden Morgen ist die Reise wert. Auch die Umgebung hat viel zu bieten, Wanderungen im Exmoor vorbei am wilden Ponys, die Nähe zu verschiedenen Stränden, kleine Hafenstädte…einfach schön! Auch die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr nett, auf jede Frage kam sofort Antwort. We hope to be back!"

"We had a great stay, lots of room for 2 adults and 3 teenagers (WiFi great), dog and kids loved the paddock to run around in, beds comfortable, table football great addition, Rayburn and washing machine appreciated to wash and dry clothes on wet days. Lots of walks just be prepared lots of inclines. Parking great. Local pub has good food.local little shop good for bits or a 20 min drive to minehead."

"This house was an awesome stay. The layout is spacious for up to 3 couples (we had 2) and room to sit and visit. The town of Dunster is fun with shops and good food choices. The home is well taken care of and even though it is on the street, the car noise was not a problem. We really enjoyed our stay here."

"Owner never sent code to get in which I didn't realize. You have to phone them. Shower very moldy at each end of tracks and very slippery. Generally dusty. Garage parking not very safe to access. Double yellow lines in front and not easy to fold open. I picked this because i felt my friend who uses a cane could visit but not so. Garage floor which you went thru to enter was cobble stones. Back entrance long path with steps."
