"The cottage is beautiful and charming, full of character. Well equipped with kitchen and dining wares. Tea and coffee was much appreciated. Personally, I would put the dining table in the kitchen and put another little sofa in the living room. The outside courtyard needs tidying up, couple of mops were left outside in the rain, seating cushions also left out in the rain, which meant that when it warmed up at the weekend, they were too wet to sit on them, a little outside cupboard to store them in when not in use would be great, overgrown brambles in front of the gate and in the courtyard. One and a half rolls of really cheap loo roll is not enough for two adults, better quality loo roll would have been better too. Instructions on how to work the central heating system would have been great, I rang to ask how to turn it on as the controller near the front door didn't work, apparently this was the old controller and the new one was near the TV. When I rang back to say that we have sorted it, the lady said that the plumber claims he left the instructions in the folder, I had checked the folder before ringing - there was no instructions. The carbon monoxide detector constantly beeped and we couldn't find new batteries so we took the old ones out. I would also put some hooks under the stairs to hang the mop and brush to make it look a bit more tidy. It is a really lovely cottage and a much welcomed bolt hole to come back to and relax in after hiking Snowdon on a very stormy Saturday morning."

"We had a great stay in this lovely characterful cottage, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you could need. Sally’s communication was excellent and detailed. The only comment we would have was that the double bed was rather too firm. The location was perfect for our purpose, which was to join a charity walk up Snowdon via the Rhydd Ddu path, only a couple of minutes walk away. We were only a short drive from so many other lovely popular Welsh towns and The Cwellyn Arms, just across the road, serves great food if you don’t feel like cooking after a full day. Be prepared to bring basic provisions, as the nearest shop is a short drive away. We would definitely return to this cottage."

"Great location - secluded but genuinely easily walkable into the village. Really enjoyed our time here. The drive up the lane from the village is a bit entertaining (steep and narrow) but much easier after the first run!"

"Excellent Hostel and very well kept. Nice clean facilities and good food available in the restaurant too. Only downside is the parking situation but this is out of their hands and well informed on their web site. Plenty of regular busses during the day so just be sure to plan ahead for where you park."

"Lovely property, very comfortable and well equipped. Nice chill out areas after days walk. Only problem was not being to use the garden terrace as it didn't stop raining. Handy for Snowdon, and the Sherpa bus route"

"Cottage had everything we needed. Quiet location but not too far from amenities. Snowdonia Sherpa bus stops right outside. Very powerful shower. Excellent location with a number of hiking routes right from the door step."
