Still Valley Lake Loft is located on our private 32 acre lake nestled on 120 acres in Carroll County, OH. We invite you to escape, relax, and enjoy amazing fishing (catch & release with your equipment), spectacular views, beach, swimming, and a canoe, kayaks, and paddle boat on the lake. Fire pit available. Pontoon boat, ski boat, and tubing available in season (fee). Liability waiver required at check-in. Dedicated work space.

The space
Still Valley Lake is a beautiful private lake. We invite guests to enjoy lake life! Make use the private beach, complimentary canoe, adult kayaks, youth kayak and paddle boat, swim, or fish. Pontoon boat (shared between 2 properties, no boating license required) and ski boat with driver are typically available for rental (seasonal); ask for details. Please note that the lake is lowered for the winter mid November until spring, so access is limited . Charcoal grill, life jackets, beach towels, camping chairs, beanbag toss, and assorted games and puzzles are included.

No outside boats are permitted.

Charcoal grill (charcoal not provided) and portable outside table provided. Wood for the fire pit is not provided.

The loft is designed for 4 guests, but can possibly accommodate up to 6 people. There are 2 futon couches suitable for children or smaller adults that can be slept on in the unit. Please contact us if there are more than 4 people in your party. 4 guest maximum strongly suggested for longer stays.

There is a 100 foot elevation change up and down to reach the loft. 4WD or AWD are needed if snow or ice is present.

Please note the the owners may need to access the garage below the loft. Guests may be asked to move their vehicles. No guest parking in the garage.

We also have a slightly smaller unit, Still Valley Lake Cottage, that holds up to 4 guests.

Guest access
The loft is private and inviting, but is not small-child friendly due to the open stairs and patio railings. Guests must be able to walk up a flight of stairs. Please use the lake! Rules and safety information located in the loft.

The lake is lowered mid-November thru spring. Access is limited during that period and no pontoon boat or water-skiing is available.

We highly recommend using the dedicated hiking trails available at the nearby Mount Union Nature Center. Guests are welcome to walk the drive.

As a private lake, there is limited access and boat traffic. Guests do not have exclusive use of the lake and property, but do have their own private beach.

Other things to note
Up to 4 additional friends or family can join you during the day. No additional overnight guests. 4 vehicle limit for parking.

Pontoon boat is shared between 2 properties and is first come, first served. Fee applies for each day of use.

The lake is lowered in mid November until spring, so lake access is limited at that time. No pontoon boat or water-skiing is available.

A detailed house manual is located in the loft. 3 smart TV's are available for guests to use with their own subscription services. Bridged Starlink internet.

This is a no smoking property. Guests that smoke inside will incur a minimum $100 cleaning charge. Guests may smoke outside on the ground level, away from the propane tanks, and must pick up all cigarette butts.

Per house rules, all guests are required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival.

The garage located below the loft may be used by the owners occasionally.

The private lake has limited access and boat traffic. It does not mean that guests have exclusive use of the lake and property. Loft guests do have their own private beach.

All dogs must be walked on a leash at all times to avoid possible negative interactions with property owner's dogs. Please dispose of all waste around the unit or in mowed areas. Guests are responsible for any damages. Excessive barking will result in termination of the lease.
