"We enjoyed our stay tremendously, our hosts were responsive and timely with communications, they addressed some unexpected issues (refrigerator wasn’t working) they had the technician out promptly to fix the problem). The view is absolutely spectacular, the kitchen was great to work in, we loved the availability of the beach chairs/towels and other amenities. We were thrilled with the local wildlife and even got to see a Moose!We loved the mountain cabin feel but is a bit dated and could use a deep clean. While we are accustomed to certain areas being locked for the owners use, we found it unusual that so many of the closets and other storage areas were locked and were not accessible to guests. I do believe more than one towel per guest should be available but we made it workOverall a great stay; and we would certainly return and recommend staying there"

"We housed a wedding couples immediate family at the house and had a wedding ceremony and reception in the yard overlooking Bear Lake. The house, grounds, other facilities (club house, beach access) were exactly as described and perfect for our stay. The house was thoughtfully well stocked and worked out great. I would highly recommend."

"Loved this property for a family party. Great views. The home was spotless and everything was in great condition. The private beach was fantastic. The ONLY thing that would have helped me was understanding exactly where rooms were situated in the description. It would be helpful if there were listed as top floor, main floor, and basement."

"Our large family really enjoyed our stay at The Moose. The Willeses were an A-1 host couple, always available and ready to answer our many questions.We liked the variety of features at both the Moose and its gated community--especially those geared to young children. The glimpse of the lake was serene (even if a bit obscured by the smoky air). We enjoyed the seclusion of our lodge and the sight of American kestrels feeding their young. The accommodations were comfortable and generally spacious, though it could get a bit congested around the dining/gathering area for a large crowd like ours. The number of bathrooms didn't always seem to tally with the upper bedroom use, but everyone survived.All in all, we feel privileged to have had The Moose as our reunion place, and would recommend it to all."
