"Came in the off season, and it was a complete bait and switch. Actual hotel was closed (including pool and restaurant (so no breakfast)). Placed us next door in tiny apartments. Manager gave us the key and left the property. First room had a broken toilet seat so moved us to another one. Staff spoke no English and didn’t understand that we need password for WiFi. Blanket on bed was wet. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left the next morning."

"We very much enjoyed staying at the Nest. The facilities are great, the pool is large and very clean and lounge chairs are comfortable. Our room was spacious and lovely and we even got upgraded for the extra night we decided to stay to one of the beautiful villas. The staff is really the highlight. "The Peninsula is top tier. The staff from the moment we walked in, were AMAZING! There were some staff (at the bars, and the lady with the blonde bob in the restaurant. She is very mean and rude), that were not as friendly as the other staff but everyone else made up for it. They were are all so helpful and friendly. Especially the front desk and housekeeping staff. They are exceptional! The amenities are all very well maintained. The staff I mentioned are the only reason I did not give stars. I do love the Peninsula and plan to return. I hope those staff members have been addressed and are more friendly. The food was okay. They didn’t have a lot of popular Greek options like gyros, lamb, Greek salad, etc. I think they were trying to cater to the non-Greek guests but it’s Greece and I would have appreciated more Mediterranean food. The resort is IMMACULATE! I mean not a speck of dust anywhere. The floors are clean and shiny. The housekeeping staff along with the front desk staff really make the Peninsula sparkle. Thanks to them it stands out as a premium luxury resort."
