"Our stay was reasonably comfortable, except for a few small factors: 1. It’s a shame that they allow smoking in the rooms because we are non-smokers and smoke particles cannot be completely eradicated from the room even with a room humidifier and spray fragrance. So we could not be as comfortable as we normally would be had it been a non-smoking room. B/C HOTEL KUSATSU

10/10 Excellent

"Excelente amenities!!! And a great location!"

La Vista Kusatsu Hills

10/10 Excellent

"Relaxing stay with everything taken care of from dinner to breakfast. Although we walked around f there is a free shuttle to bus terminal which is a few mins walk to the yubatake."

Naeba Prince Hotel

8/10 Good

"A bit run down and since it was off season and mostly empty. At check the receptionist told me that breakfast was complimentary but when i went to the restaurant they said I would have to pay. So this kind of misrepresentation didn’t bode well with me."

Urakusatsu Tou

10/10 Excellent

"Great hotel, with very attentive staff, especially in the restaurant. The restaurant staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself very clean and comfortable."

Oyado Konoha Kyoritsu Resorts

10/10 Excellent

"We had an absolutely amazing time here with my parents. I would love to come back. I’ve been to other Japanese hot springs/ryokan and this was the best one!"

Kanemidori

10/10 Excellent

"A very traditional Japanese hotel with thorough service, we had a very nice stay. Staff took care of swapping out the futon, alongside bus services to various parts of Kusatsu. The onsen was well maintained and also tattoo friendly!"

Hanaingen

10/10 Excellent

"What an amazing place this is. As soon as you check in you're given a welcome matcha tea and sweet treats. The dining area has free flavoured water and hot drinks 247 and the breakfast was so tasty. They even catered for vegetarians. The room was gorgeous. Tatami mats covered the floor with a beautiful seating area with tea and a kettle for you to use in the room. The beds were extremely comfy and the only negative I have about this place is that the duvets were so thick and fluffy. I'm just glad it wasn't really hot weather. The Onsen baths were amazing. 4 separate shapes, all supposedly offering a different dream to come true. All toiletries were supplied, as were pajamas. I can't rate this place highly enough. I felt very welcomed and cared for. I just wish I could have stayed longer."

Kishigon Ryokan

"Extremely helpful staff. Onsen is great. Location is unbearable. I will visit again."

SHIMAONSEN TSURUYA

"The hotel was impeccable! Super courteous staff, private open air hot spring bath. Food was outstanding! Highly recommend"
