"This hotel perfectly met our needs for the nightly rate. We were in Coimbra for a wedding, and its location was ideal, offering easy access to the city center within walking distance. Thanks to the hotel’s convenient location, we chose to walk to all major attractions, including the university. Although the bed wasn’t particularly comfortable considering the price, I wouldn’t expect anything extravagant. Overall, our stay was great!"

"About a 15 minute walk from the portage along a paved river path. Staff supplied recommendations for dining and Fado options as we were booking in. Excellent buffet breakfast choices and we also enjoyed the Portuguese themed Thursday buffet. There looked to be a number of families staying and a good activity schedule for children. Theme for this hotel was ballet."

"Very central. Easy walking distance of all the sites. Staff bent over backwards to be helpful even offering biscuits and water for the journey as we were leaving. Excellent buffet choice of breakfast and option to order from a menu. Being offered a snack (cake) late afternoon every day we were there and a cocktail and cheeseboard one evening were unexpected bonuses."

"This hotel is in a good location, with the University of Coimbra Library and other attractions just a 15–20 minute walk away. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. While the overall stay was pleasant, the property could benefit from better maintenance. One downside for international travelers is that the room did not have a safe to securely store passports and other valuables. The lighting in the room was also quite dim, and brighter lighting would make the space feel more comfortable and inviting. Overall, it's a decent place to stay because of its convenient location and excellent staff. With a few maintenance improvements and the addition of in-room safes, it would provide a much better guest experience."

"We stayed in the Royal Suite which was very clean snd spacious with a wonderful large balcony. The swimming pool and outdoor spaces were well maintained and clean. The breakfast was fine, although the hot choices were very limited. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the centre of Coimbra in a nice quiet area. We would definitely stay here again."
