Unfortunately our stay coincided with the closure of the restaurant and bar. We only received notice if this the day prior to our stay. The location of the property is amazing but the building itself is showing signs of age. Definitely time for a renovation. The staff were all amazing. Unfortunately due to the restaurant and bar being closed we cut short our stay.

The accommodation was great, far better than expected (and we did our homework looking at reviews prior). The restaurant and bar were expensive and it would have been great to see a local ale or 2 on tap. That said, the resort is a short walk from town. And that walk is part of the experience of mission beach.

Nice hotel

There are not many seaside options in remote rural areas. This hotel is already a very good choice locally. It's not far from the town center. There are a few restaurants and bars to choose from. The natural environment is beautiful, quiet and safe.

They show beautiful pictures of the rooms and pools in the main building, but might put you in an old seperate building which isn't well maintained anymore - incl. pool and parking lot not clean resp. in bad condition. At least the rooms have been clean - so the cleaning staff did a good job.

Average property in a good location right on the beach and short walk to restaurants and bars. Pool area and rooms are tired, worn and dated. In room facilities extremely limited. Staff were friendly and accomodating but I do not consider this good value for the price we paid so would not recommend or stay here again.

Location with the beachfront was great. That was where the positives ended. Our room had water leaking from the wall, a damaged light switch in the bathroom and the base of the toilet was leaking. There were also cockroaches. This resort is in desperate need of significant renovation.

Upon check in staff were rude. Rooms were dirty due to age and are very outdated, grout in bathroom and bathroom tiles are disgusting. Pool was dirty and full of leaves and bottom of pool was slimy. I asked if they could clean pool but never got done.

Lovely site on the beachfront. Easy walk to other restaurants. Rooms need updating. Fridge rusty, not working effectively. Louvres at front of room missing? needs to be replaced. Dined at restaurant, nearly blown away...need to install some kind of wind buffer to both restaurant and reception desk area.

Poor experience

Hotel is nicely situated on the beach, beautiful views. We thought dinner on the beach would be lovely, but we were told we couldn’t do that as staff were too busy as there was a wedding. Our room was right next to where the wedding was held so very noisy til 1130 pm. Room was tired and run down. If hotel wants to host weddings, fine, but don’t book in other guests, and definitely don’t room them right next to the wedding.

Unfortunately the room I booked was not as expected view was interrupted by roof top. Room was noisy could hear sliding doors and toilet flushing For a resort I expected table service but had to order food and drinks from the bar Waiting time for drinks was too long Understaffed the staff that worked did an amazing job so dam busy not a good look been that busy Bed in room was too bloody small expected bigger Had to climb in a bath to use the shower Shower gel was empty had to call reception Complementary washing powder container empty Will most likely not stay there again Very disappointed traveler

The rooms are in need of a refresh ... rusty fittings in the bathroom, poorly installed air-conditioning unit with gaps into the ceiling, very mouldy floor coverings on external verandahs. For the price that is charged it just doesn't match the quality of what you get!
