"When is a resort not a resort? In this case, when it doesn't provide any facilities outside the room. There's a rooftop bar in summer but nothing at other times. Staff were pleasant but breakfast was limited and when we asked for a second cup of coffee we had to pay for it. The room is large but was taken up by 4 double futons and a massive hanging screen for projecting TV/video. We felt it was intended for a large group who wanted to watch DVDs all day. "The staff was amazing and very helpful despite the language barrier. The room was spotless, the building was spotless. Breakfast was included, always fresh. Dinner was also included. Im assuming because not much around there. It cost about $60 CND per day to take the train return into Hiroshima. This is the only way to get there. No bus available only the Bullet train. My mistake I booked wrong location. Still worked out fine. The mattress is very firm. But surprisingly we both slept very well. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. "

"This location is right next to Saijo station - an excellent place to stay with quick access to Sakagura street to visit all of the sake breweries. My only complaint is there’s only one elevator for the whole hotel so for events like the Saijo Sake Matsuri it takes a long time to get to and from your room, and the breakfast area becomes very crowded. they do have a washer and dryer which I used twice very convenient very efficient. The coffee maker was broken for two of the three days I stayed so that was a bummer. I wish they could’ve given everyone ¥200 to go to the 7-Eleven for coffee or just brew it in the kitchen!"
