Super comfy bed and great hospitality from the hosts. We could not recommend this place enough. "I really enjoyed my stay at Black Bear Lodge in Slade, Kentucky. The location was perfect—it's centrally located and made it easy to explore Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge State Resort Park, and the surrounding attractions. The room was simple but comfortable. I especially appreciated that they didn't skimp on the blankets, which made for a cozy night's sleep after a day of hiking. The only downside was that my room didn't have an iron or ironing board, so keep that in mind if you need one. Overall, if you're looking for a clean, affordable, and conveniently located place to stay while exploring the area, I'd happily stay at Black Bear Lodge again."
