Heyduke’s Hideout was an awesome base camp for our little group (single mom and 2 teens). I went out and did my hikes while the kids mostly stayed in town and walked around to see art, rock shop, go to the bookstore and the cafes…we all got what we needed! We were pleasantly surprised to find they had added a TV and the fireplace was so cozy! We would bring a few thick blankets or a rug to sit in front of the fire with, if we booked again. The kitchen had what we needed (and we cooked a good bit), they had ice ready in the freezer for a cocktail, For the price, you can’t beat this place!
