Downtown Mobile near Dauphin, St Louis, Greer's, Saenger, Restaurants - Unit A
First floor of a beautiful two story historic building (circa 1820s) that is believed to have once been a Carriage House. There is a nice fenced patio area in the rear with a table and chairs, porch swing, and fountain. The unit has its own separate entrance and is furnished with high end decor and art. Off Street Parking is available; unit is located in the heart of downtown with close views of beautiful buildings (especially nice at night when buildings are lit up with colors). You can rest comfortably knowing the property has perimeter video surveillance for the parking, driveway, and exterior doors. There is one bedroom with a nice king bed and also a comfortable queen size sofa bed in the living area. A full kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, glasses, wine glasses, utensils, k-cup coffee maker, etc. Fridge has an ice maker in the freezer. Wi-fi is free (password provided upon check-in) and there is a smart TV in each room. Located 1/2 block from St. Louis Street with great restaurants, Greer's Boutique Grocery store with bakery/deli and a rooftop bar for sunsets. Greer's on St. Louis should have all the food supplies (including wine and beer) you will need. We are one block from Nova Espresso Coffee and two blocks from beautiful Bienville Square and the popular Dauphin St. "Entertainment District". There you will find lots of excellent restaurants from casual to fine dining, shops, bars; the Saenger Theater is only a 5 minute walk! You will be three blocks from the Haunted Book Shop and six blocks from the Mobile Convention Center, waterfront and Cooper Park. (Cooper Park is next to the GulfQuest National Maritime Museum and the Cruise Terminal). The Mardi Gras parade routes and Bowl Game parade routes will be only one block. We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect within easy walking distance of great bars, restaurants, and everything downtown Mobile has to offer. The space was beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Rob was proactive with communication and provided very clear instructions, making check-in and the entire stay seamless. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend this property and would gladly stay here again!
I loooooved this property. It was conveniently located and had a lot within walking distance. The decor was absolutely beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. We will definitely be back to stay here!
Comfortable for 1 or 2 people. It will sleep 4 though. I think it would be a bit crowded but doable. I loved the rustic exposed brick and some of the decor gives it a bit of an Old World feel. Location was just a very short walk from numerous bars and restaurants. Boutique grocery store just around the corner. Host is helpful and responds quickly. Also liked having off street parking which is not always available at properties in city locations. I recommend staying here.
I loved the space, it was very lovely and while comfortable, it also allowed me to get a good bit of work done. You can walk everywhere and there is a really wonderful market on the same block. Everything was great!
We came to Mobile to see some live music at the Saenger Theatre. Roman Street and The Gypsy Kings were amazing. Your house was in the perfect location within walking distance of everything we wanted.
We will be back!
Unique vibe, nicely
Decorated, and clean. Good layout and perfect for our weekend stay. In walking distance to eateries and event we were in town for on Dauphin street. Rob, the host, was great to give recs for food and good spots to visit and easy to communicate with. Would def recommend. Does have an upstairs and downstairs unit available here if need more space, you could potentially rent both and still be in same
Spot!
Thanks Rob!
Amazing place! The decor is wonderful, Rob is so responsive and helpful, and the location is great. You can walk to everything. It is convenient to be around the corner from Greer's Market. We enjoyed the patio for morning coffee and evening wine. Book it!
Our Mobile stay was fun. The rental was clean and the decor funky and eclectic. It was very enjoyable staying there. The outdoor garden with the bubbling fountain was a delight while having our morning coffee. The only suggestions are that there should be a shot glass provided for those who like cocktails and the bathroom mirror light needs to be brighter as it was hard trying to see how my makeup was looking.
Very nicely remodeled old building down to every detail. Wonderful courtyard to relax. We were very surpised of how quiet and peaceful it was being just steps from all the night life. Definitely check out Greers market. Found sone really nice specialty items. Hopefully we find another reason to visit Mobile soon.
