"We stayed for 4 nights. The house is comfortable and very well apportioned. The configuration is a little odd as the bathroom is not directly connected to bedroom. The location is good for getting to the wineries in the area and only about 20 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The road is a little noisy but not bad."

"This is a beautiful spot! It rained and stormed our entire weekend there but we were still able to sit under the gazebo on the dock and have a relaxing weekend away. The host was courteous and allowed us our privacy but was available if needed. The neighbor was kind as well. They left us a basket of snacks and a couple of bottles of water which was appreciated since we arrived later in the evening. The living area is well equipped and has everything you may need. "Great location. Very walkable to all the fun things Elkin has to offer, including a local brewery/pizza place and a fantastic cocktail bar. Hiking trails for all levels within walking distance from room. Nice studio room, very clean, but a little small for two adults. Needs comfortable seating, task lighting and bedside tables of some sort. 3.5 out of 5"
