"The room was large, modern and clean. The beds were comfortable. As far as hotel breakfasts goes- it was great. The staff was friendly. A good short term stay for our family of 5. Room for improvement: Temperature. The AC was blasting cold air throughout the building. We were shivering at breakfast. It’s June- we didn’t pack for cold weather. The temperature within the room is controlled by a wall panel, but if you want to use the fan continuously for noise purposes the room fan will be circulating frigid air. There’s a chance this was user error, but we couldn’t figure it out. We had the room set on “cool” and to 75degrees. But the air coming out may as well have been from the refrigerator. The pool area is newer, but the door leading to the outdoor has a gap at the bottom- and we saw at least 20 dead flying insects floating in the pool. Ick. And similar to the rest of the building the AC was blasting cold air in the pool area as well. So while the pool water is somewhat heated the air above the pool makes swimming unpleasant/intolerable. $75 dog fee was steep. Considering the hotel next door lets dogs stay free."

"Nice walk to Glen Miller Park and Richmond Rose Garden. Front porch nice for morning coffee.Time for the pillows to be refreshed, they were quite flat.Listing states "swimming pool" which was is in accurate (and obvious from photos and the general area) , but it also states ammenities include "Washer" and "Dryer" which it does not have."
