"We have stayed at some amazing properties around the world and this one is our new favorite. Not only was the hotel property amazing but the hospitality was over the top! You absolutely have to add breakfast to your stay as it was a highlight of the experience."

"Excellent service from all of the staff. Clean and well appointed room. Balcony with fantastic views. Excellent, quiet, peaceful, beautiful location. Nice outdoor pool, deck and loungers with great views in all directions. Very good restaurant for breakfast; fantastic evening meal. Well-stocked bar."

"The best place to stay in the Douro Valley! Régua is quaint, good dining and access to the train station. The owners were very welcoming upon arrival and the room was impeccable and charming. Beautiful views, gorgeous gardens, bird avierys and a lovely pool! Breakfast was wonderful and a great finish to our trip to Port country!"

"The property is stunning!!! The views are indescribable - you have to see for yourself to really experience. Traveled with group of 6 - late 50s, early 60s (good physical shape overall)....I will say that there are TONS of steps to get anywhere and if you are unable to do a lot of steps (I mean TONS) - this is not the property for you. If you are able to do steps you have to see this place! One thing that I'll remember is Eduardo helping us check in saying "this is your home for your stay.....treat it as such and enjoy all that the property offers"......The snack bar is meh. The breakfast buffet more than satisfying...."
