We had a wonderful time in Kranjska Gora and in particular in Garni Hotel Miklic. A literal slice of heaven. Sadly we were only passing through on our way to a wedding in Italy, but after the way we were treated at this place, we are currently planning a full vacation here. Excellent hotel in quiet Julian Alps, big and clean room, great spa (excellent massage). Ideal for all king of outdoor activities. Breakfast is good. Person at reception speak excellent English, are welcoming and helpful. Would go back again.

Great hotel in Slovenia. Ski run literally next door. Way more posh than the price suggests. Game room, bar, free parking, minutes from Austrian border and Lake Bled, outstanding breakfast...just a great place to stay.

The staff saved us a ton of money! Explained how to get the evignette through Slovenia, if we hadn't had it in advance for 15 Euro there is over a 300 Euro fee! The breakfast was good, and place a nice stay.

The best. Traveling with 2 friends for the last 30 years over much of the world, I would rank this one of the most delightful small hotels. Lovely third floor suite overlooking Lake Bled complete with the perfect castle highlighted by a rainbow. Staff was young and professional while maintaining a warm sense of humor. Arranged all of our requests immediately and were helpful with excellent suggestions for our three days in the area. Variety of guests from a Lebonese biking group speaking French...

We stayed a total of four nights while hiking in the Julian Alps. The hotel was very accommodating, at one point allowing us to extend an extra night when the weather was bad. The staff (whose English overall was quite good) also helped us change a reservation at one of the mountain huts. The breakfast buffet is generous, and the free wi-fi was easy to use and had a good connection. We would stay at the Kompas again if in KG.

Such a special place. Unbelievable meal at the restaurant, incredibly warm service, so much thoughtfulness all around.

We enjoyed every moment we stayed at the Penzion Berc. The owners and all staff were above and beyond in meeting our needs. The food was very delicious and made our stay very complete and very quaint and perfect. Thank you!!!

Great staff, easy check in and instructions. Walkable to station and extremely peaceful and safe location! Breakfast was really tasty and coffee station right outside of my place. I had a beautiful view of the alley.

Hotel is a real 5 star hotel . We stay only two night and we used all the fantastic facility on the thermal spa . The food is fantastic the service at reception great and all the personnel are top class and very friendly .

Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the lake that’s about 5 minutes away. Beautiful Mountain View. Definitely worth it super close to the town of Villach. We be back for sure!

Spent amazing 3 nights at the thermen resort. Reception staff was extremely helpful in providing free train service card, directions for free laundry within the hotel. Apart from the wonderful sauna and infrared cabins to use, the amazing surprise was the restaurant in the next door hotel serving avocado vegan samosas(mouthwatering).
