"Comparing this to the Maldives - All inclusive isn’t the best deal as you only get 30% off restaurants and menus outside the standard AI - Beaches are beautiful but public so expect to be hassled by locals selling things - Staff need training, not overly attentive and when making a complaint - not hugely responsive It’s a lovely hotel, beautiful setting but food options are limited in my opinion (even the truck for street food is very very greasy and unhealthy) *"

"The staff were amazing and very helpful especially with my son who has severe learning disabilities and is nonverbal. They accommodated each and every request for him which made such a difference for us. Such a welcoming and inclusive hotel and staff. The team at the Palm Court restaurant for breakfast and dinner were beyond brilliant - managing our timings and needs for him on demand. 10000% brilliant, cannot wait to come back! "Convenient location for the airport & as a base to visit the area. The beach shuttle is a great facility & gives you the opportunity of relaxing for a day or 2 on arrival or before travelling home. Rooms are spacious & clean. Staff were friendly, efficient & always available if you required anything. Restaurant food quality was very good both for breakfast & evening."

"I couldn’t fault the Salt of Palmar Hotel. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent quality and cooked to order. I would recommend the all inclusive option as not so many other options nearby. Very good coffee also. The location is on the East coast, so a bit windier. We took a few snorkelling trips on the hotel’s boat, which was amazing. We stayed 2 weeks and took some days out to tour the island, lots of trips/tours available. The room looked directly out onto the Ocean with waves breaking on the reef. Quiet surroundings and very safe environment. Would 100 % recommend "

"Beautiful setting and landscaping. Staff are brilliant, friendly and attentive and not in your face. Spa was great. Recommend ‘water shoes’ for the beach as it’s a coral beach, it’s beautiful, the shoes will enhance the experience "

"Roons are very clean. If any little thing is wrong it is corrected straight away by housekeeping. Staff in the restaurant are welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Excellent spa, great masseurs Neehar and others. The hotel could think about updating showers and some towels are no longer brilliant white, bit grey, but very clean. The water taxi was not available one day as it was being serviced there is a bridge open in the day by the aquarium. "
