Hampton Inn Clackamas

"This is an older property, though we appreciated the updated carpet, decor, and a sizable flat screen TV in the room. The room and public spaces were clean and tidy. Note that the hotel does not have the "typical" Hampton lobby or breakfast area layout. The low ceilings and narrow entry/front desk area are a bit off-putting, especially if guests are expecting anything similar to most Hampton floor plans. Unfortunately, our 3rd-floor ceiling "creaked" with any movement of the upstairs guests which made a good night's sleep difficult, though that was not a problem on a previous stay. The double queen room was a bit cramped for 3 adults, and the bathroom was small. The location is convenient to I-205. Ask for a top floor room and be prepared for the unique floor plan. With these adjustments and appropriate expectations, the hotel is a good value."
