"From check-in to check-out, the staff were excellent- very friendly and attentive. The hotel is brilliantly located and very well kept up. The room and bed were very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. I found it to be excellent value for money and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again were I to return to Cobh. "

"We had the best stay at the Dean Hotel. I highly recommend. Everything you want to see is a 5-35 min walk. Great for exploring the city. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond. While visiting Ireland, I found out my great aunt had passed away. I was in need of finding a place to print a picture of her and Flowers. When explaining everything to the receptionist, she helped me with printing off my great aunt’s picture and gave a really great recommendation to a flower shop, and I was able to perform a small funeral for great aunt. I wish I could remember her name. She is a gem and deserves a raise and a bonus for doing what she did. We also really enjoyed Sophie’s (a restaurant and bar) which is on the Top floor and had a blast gabbing with Wayne the bar manager. He made us laugh and was great for conversation. The room was so comfortable, clean and it felt like we had one of the best views of the city. Come here if you want to get a taste of the life and people of Cork. "

"What a beautiful hotel. Set in fabulous surroundings, it has everything you need for the perfect getaway. Rooms are spacious and beds so comfortable. Food is excellent. We had breakfast and dinner on both days and couldn't find fault . It was excellent. Saying all of that, the hotels absolute treasure is its staff. They are gems. So friendly, so welcoming, so amazing. They'd brighten up anyone's day.withthfoodorthechoices "

"As always our stay was amazing. It's such a treat to get away and feel like you are in the middle on nowhere. The peace and tranquility is fantastic. It's so nice to wonder around the shop there and the food is second to none. We had a lovely light lunch when we arrived as we wanted to save our appetite for our evening meal which did not disappoint. The rooms are so cozy and the bed was so comfortable. We had a great night sleep and all set for a beautiful breakfast in the morning which again was amazing. All in all it was a fabulous overnight and we are looking forward to going back again soon."
