"I arrived at the hotel but unfortunately I had not received a booking reference as I booked through Hotels.com which meant I couldn't do the online check in. This was very frustrating as I couldn't call the number at the front desk due to me having a UK phone. Fortunately I got through to someone from hotels.com and they contacted the property. I then tried to buy a coffee from the machine but for the entirety of my stay it wasn't working properly, however I was still able to purchase other items from the grab and go kiosk and scan items in. The lift had not been vacuumed which gave me a poor impression, however once I got to the room I was very pleased with the cleanliness inside, towels and room amenities. The TV had not been plugged in which was awkward to get to around the back but I was very happy about everything else. I did notice the ceiling is the only ugly thing in the rooms as it is pure concrete and looks like it hasn't been plastered over. When I left the property I still had the issue where I couldn't check out so left the card on the front desk in the hope that a member of staff would see it (it is unstaffed). This why my rating was 4 stars and not 5 stars."

"Arrived from international flight from US. Easy 15 min train from AMS airport to Leiden central train stn & Ibis is directly across the street. 2 grocery stores next door with prepared food & wine/beer. The ibis has a full bar(7€ pints) with tons of tables & chairs to relax in the evening. The rooms have INDIVIDUAL air con! & super clean. Shampoo & soap in the great shower. If you choose not to have your room serviced, you can ask the front desk to replenish your coffee supplies👍 walking out their BACK door you are in the heart of town in 2 min."

"Clean, well -run, loved the quirky decor. Although it"s on a busy little street with bars and "coffee shops" and there can be noise at night, it"s very secure (four automatically locking doors between our studio and the street). Central and close to the station. You can easily do day trips all over the Randstad. The staff are very nice. Don't worry about arriving when reception is shut, the digital keys work."
