"Valentina the owner was so kind in welcoming our family to the castle, and Monica was on site every day to make sure all of our needs were taken care off. Primal was a rock star cooking and cleaning and making sure our children and grand children were taken care of. There were 20 of us in our family ages ranging from 7-68 and the accommodations, the location and food was perfect for our group! "Beautiful place to visit. We knew it was a bit far from town so we were disappointed that the restaurant had such limited hours, only 3 hours in the evening and no place to get coffee in the morning. Also did have a temporary issue with the water pressure in one bathroom."

"We stayed one week in one of the appartments outside of the castle. We had the big one (No. 1.B) with 4 bedrooms. So a lot of space for 4 people like us, it might be a bit more cosy with the supposed 8 people max. capacity. The environment around the castle is great, pure Tuscan, great views of the countryside and most of the Tuscan attractions are close by to be reached within a daytrip. Rooms were clean and in reasonable shape. The fridge was big enough and had a huge freezer compartment....

"We enjoyed this quirky (lots of steps) but delightful rental. All the bedrooms with ensuite baths ensured privacy for everyone. The small kitchen was very well outfitted and we enjoyed cooking dinners there with wonderful indoor and outdoor eating options. The pool was refreshing with lovely views. The managers were attentive to our every need and very friendly and accessible. I would definitely come again!"

"Booked for August for our family of 4. When we arrived the place looked beautiful, so much history! After being checked in we got into our apartment and started to notice some issues. The air was stale and moldy smelling, the furniture was dated and dirty and there were some functional issues with electrical outlets and one of the toilets. We addressed with management, especially the air quality and asked to be moved but we were told they were full and nothing else available. At first we thought...

"The property is an incredible medieval tower in a tiny Tuscan town. There is a beautiful river right next to the tower - you can hear the water rushing by from the terrace on the roof. The terrace itself is an experience, breathtaking views from your own private hot tub. Feels like you're living in your own castle, it's an incredible experience! The tower is painted with murals of castles and landmarks in the valley. This tower has history, as well, the poet Dante may have lived in this tower...

"This was a dream stay. I traveled with my husband and our four kids. We all loved it. My teens loved all the photo opps in a castle surrounding by such beauty. My younger kids were mesmerized by the castle and couldn't get enough of the pool. My husband and I loved it all. The cafe was a treat. Best cappuccinos in Italy and the sweetest girl who runs it.
