Le Méridien Hamburg

"Le Meridien is a beautifully appointed hotel overlooking the Außenalster lake. The detail in its design and layout is unmatched, and provides a calm, sensuous experience for the weary traveller. The seventh-floor bar terrace provides views across the city to the east and the ninth-floor restaurant has a panoramic glass wall looking across the lake to the north west. At breakfast, this view provides an ideal incentive to go out and explore this fine city. The staff are exceptionally helpful and welcoming, as one would expect from Germans. There are shops, restaurants, and tourist tours located just a short walk from the hotel to the north east. The food at Le Meridien is excellent, particularly the breakfast which is a veritable smorgasbord of delights. Personally, I think I have found my favourite hotel in one of my favourite cities."

"Staff was warm and welcoming each and every night and morning . The staff greeted me asked me how my day at the festival was and made me feel welcome .The bar was cozy modern industrial decor and lobby was open welcoming with . Basement shower were small intimate minimalist. Easy place to find and come back to after a long day at Erofurence Looking forward to another stay next year"

"The rooms are much smaller than expected but it’s still excellent for the price. The buffet is pretty good for the price. Staff are friendly speak good English. The restrooms are also small in the unit but they have very nice ones in the lobby."
