"If you want a quiet place on a scenic golf course this is a pretty good choice. The staff were excellent and a pleasure to talk with and ask questions. Room service is provided daily and they keep your room clean and plenty of towels and some toiletries. One thing that is not so good is not every room has been updated, some have older toilets that don’t flush well and some have older Airconditioning systems that are not the greatest. Ask for newer updated rooms. A pretty good continental breakfast is provided and with fruit bowls and other healthy items. One thing the breakfast room is open during the day and at night but I don’t know if they really want you to be in there except for breakfast and maybe to watch a large screen TV. No outside food is allowed. I think it’s because crumbs etc. Would attract bugs. No one wants bugs! So I guess I can see that as a reason. We liked our stay, quiet but near to downtown and other places of interest."

"Wonderful place to relax and unplug for a few days. The weather was extremely hot so just enjoyed looking at beautiful lake homes, local restaurants and a short trip to Columbia for the day. Beautiful property, safe walking area and quiet surroundings. While we didn’t take advantage of the kayaks the the lake is beautiful. Even with construction going on next door we rarely heard anything. Owners are super friendly and great!"

"Air conditioning was on point as the temperature rose to over 100. The Staff was amazing. Rooms were nice and clean with very comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Location is close to restaurants and stores. Breakfast was okay and filling."

"AWESOME!!! Everything was excellent, from my first contact with the host to the day we left the cabin! My family and I were so happy there…no one wanted to leave. Ron replied promptly to my emails, he offered helpful suggestions for our needs, an abundance of daily supplies/necessities were available, fun toys available to use, an awesome fire pit with lots of wood, cleanliness, washer/dryer, easy access to the state park, and even a welcome note accompanied with chocolate chip cookies! Thank you, Ron and Teresa, for the most amazing family vacation! "
