"I had confused my dates and arrived a day early by mistake, the guy on check in was very patient & extremely helpful sorting it out and even got my Marriot Bonvoy points set up. The hotel is modern & fun, my room was clean with a big tv & wifi. A really comfortable Queen bed with good quality linen. Bathroom spotless & shower very good. All in all it’s great value & a good central Bristol hotel at a very reasonable price."

"What a ln absolutely stunning location and and building and we have stayed in some lovely hotels being Gold members. Beautiful. But most striking were the team. The front of house reception team were so so welcoming. The general manager was one of the. Invest people we’ve come across. So polite personable and helpful. We were in one of the cottages (tulip) and I must say usually hotels with outside/annexed rooms are usually not as nice but these cottagez have us feel of living in a village with the entrance to the hotel just adjacent to our cottage. We loved it. The room was Lovely. Spacious yet cosy. Lovely amenities in the bathroom which was clean and welcoming. The breakfast was hot plentiful and set us up for the day. So much options for seating and free to sit wherever. Lovely views from wherever you sit. Thencast iron grill restaurant was lovely. The furnishings are stylish modern and timeless which blend well with the old historic building. Plenty of parking. The only things they could be improved was the bar felt a little tired and sofas were old. The outdoor seating made it not look like a Marriott branded hotel. Could be made to look a little more stylish quite easily. Do not hesitate to book. It’s a gem. We are looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you team. "

"The breakfast was very disappointing. I usually treat myself to some fresh fruit then smoked salmon and scrambled egg when I stay away from home. None looked appetising so I had a yogurt. "

"Always a good stay. Staff very friendly, food really tasty and great selection at the bar. Plenty of choices for breakfast and evening meals, for adults and children alike. Check in first around the back, then park in the multistorey at Cabot Circus. Easy! Price included in room cost. Hotel was busy (Easter hols) but quiet inside room. Air con quite noisy but not an issue. White noise... Traffic noise can take time to get used to if you're not from a city, but it drops off quite soon after 11pm, we found. Very happy to stay here and will do again. Central, accessible and felt well looked after."
