The restaurant across the highway was pretty good, but if you’re walking, be careful making your way across! Make note that the motel is not in Bridgeport but 5 miles away."

"What a Gem of a hotel in the Eastern Sierra! We loved this unpretentious, very comfortable lodge. Recently remodeled, everything is super clean. Our Room (#1) overlooked Bridgeport's Main Street and the beautiful 1880 courthouse across the street. Main Street is also Hwy 395, but at night it's not busy. "Our stay at the Heidelberg Inn in the June Lake Loop was amazing and one we will never forget. The location is perfect — walking distance to June Lake and Gull Lake, and right across the street from Tiger Bar, June Lake Brewery, June Pie, and Balanced Rock Grill & Cantina. "No one on site, not very safe leaving a note on outside of building with a code for room. Anyone could have taken envelope and stayed in the room. I would recommend sending your code by email. No air conditioner unit. Inside is very old and dated and not comfortable at all. Sign on door appears written as someone will return soon and never saw anyone.
