"The room was incredibly clean and the breakfast was more than adequate to fill us up before getting on the road. After going back upstairs to retrieve our suitcases, I did the unthinkable. I dropped my car fob and house keys down the elevator shaft on July 4 of all dates. They took my info and said they’d reach out to me if they can retrieve them. The next day they called me to say they retrieved them and they’d be waiting for me on the drive home. The staff was very reassuring during a stressful moment. As a side note and lesson to all, when taking a road trip bring your second fob because you never know when you’ll need it. Kudos to my wife for telling me to bring mine.
