We loved our stay at Captain Joe’s place. It feels secluded but is really close to town. The inside of the house is amazing. Up to date design and everything you need to feel at home.We didn’t have much luck fishing but we had a blast trying. Such a unique property provided the perfect place to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary Will definitely be back!

The Slip Away was the weekend get-away that I did not know I needed. Every aspect of this cozy lake property was superb. It was the perfect place to unwind, do some fishing, and enjoy the scenery. I will definitely visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Slip Away. The views of the lake were great. The decor was cute and the cabin had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. Captain Joe was easy to communicate with and always gave great suggestions for the area. We highly recommend anyone stay here.

Beautiful Place

This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. The marina next door has boat traffic in and out, but it didn’t bother us. There was music playing Friday evening, but you could only hear it outside on the deck. We enjoyed our stay and we would love to visit again.

Really great views and access to the lake and river. Feels remote, but still was close to grocery stores if feeling the urge to stay in and not go anywhere! Very nice sunsets and kayaking around the lake was a nice experience. Host is very communicative but not overly so - just right!

We loved loved Absolutely loved this property!!! We honestly wished we had booked more nights. The owner was extremely helpful and so welcoming! This place had everything And was just adorable. Amazing floating home

This is one of our favorite stays. The house and the location was perfect. Open space with tons of windows and extremely clean. Great kitchen space with everything you need, nice living area with comfortable couch, nice spacious bath with washer and dryer, comfortable bed and of course a beautiful view from the dock. Definitely recommend.

We loved the privacy and peace and quiet of this beautiful place. The owner was wonderful and had the home stocked with almost everything you could want. Nice covered patio to sit on and set out lines for fishing (caught 2 catfish) i would highly recommend to anyone that needs a little getaway 😀
