I had a pretty good visit to Monroeville. It's not a lot to do there, but was there on work.

I’ve got a reservation on 10/19. 3 rooms for me and my guys After a long day of work we got to the premises to find the door lock and nobody to talk to Waited for a while call the front desk with no answer finally tired of wait we leave the premises and moved to a different place. They still got the nerve to charge me I will never again use Expedia or stay at Americas Best value

The property was terrible! As soon as I got there I peeped in the window and saw that the room was dirty. The covers, chair, tub, & fridge were all dirty. Then a few hours into my stay one of the guests hit & damaged my car & tried to lie about it & the police had to be called & the staff was no help! Be careful staying here seems like a lot of illegal activity going on!! My overall stay was terrible and I would never stay here again!

Great place to stay

I had a couple of issues but the girl at the front desk went above and beyond to try to resolve it. Dont eat at Huddle House across the street they suck and are nasty

I paid for a room that I did not stay in. The hotel was too far from my location. I didn’t know the city. I called Expedia and the hotel and was told I can cancel but will not be refunded. I had to then pay for another hotel. I called hotel and the manager said that she could not refund me for I did not pay her I paid Expedia . She also added that Expedia only paid her $50. She said if I would’ve booked directly, she would have refunded me. It wasn’t like I paid a thousand dollars but I don’t have money to burn. I will never recommend or use Expedia again.

The reason I booked this hotel was because it had good reviews. I have nothing good to say about this place. It was very dirty when we checked in.I had to stand out in cold windy weather to check in. Then I was too tired to do anything but lay down. The bathroom was dirty both the bathtub and shower curtain looked like it had not been cleaned since 1970. The sheets were dirty and had holes burned in them. From the beginning it did not feel safe. One night people in one of the rooms fought all night long. To the point where the cops had to be called. Another night there were loud thumps from another room all night long. Beware they are not dog friendly. Dog friendly does not mean you charge 400.00.No this was not a deposit. It cost me more to stay in this place than any of the nice places I stayed in for 3 weeks before this horrible place.

Property was not cleaned was told they only clean the rooms every other day no fresh towels not enough towels, tub dirty had to buy cleaner to clean it my self trash on the ice machine two days, worker was in pajamas terrible terrible place to stay. Expedia this is shameful why this hotel is listed on you site is just shameful

A no-frills hotel

We were looking for a no-frills hotel since our visit would be brief with no time to enjoy the extras. American's Best Value in Monroeville was perfect. It had a friendly, attentive staff. The room was comfortable and the price was affordable. We would consider staying there again.
