"Great location"

"We stayed here with my family to celebrate my dad turning 60. It was such a relaxing place, we cooked out, had a fire, played lawn games, went out on the paddle boat, and had a great time. It’s not far from Monson General Store, which was a bonus. The property was exactly what I was looking for, comfortable, clean, and well stocked with everything you could need (plus coffee pods and s’mores stuff - thank you!!). Not a negative at all, but to make others aware, this is a true Maine cabin - go easy on the flushing and be patient with the kitchen water pressure. We hope to stay here again in the future!"

"The property is on a quiet side street, right on the lake while also being very close to town, groceries, restaurants and our favorite fishing supply store. The bedrooms are exactly as they looked in the photos and very clean. Especially the bedding. The towels and sheets were all very clean. All the kitchen appliances and the washer and dryer were in tip top shape. These things are important to me when I'm staying a few days in one place. The kitchen was nice and open with plenty of space and room. The dining table was large and made serving food easy as it's an open kitchen and dining area layout. The step-down-into living room with the television was a nice separate space from the rest of the house. The lawn is very very spacious but the dock was where we spent all of our time if we were outside. Everyone used the canoe and one of us used the little kayak. It was great that we were able to get out further on the water. There is a perfectly placed fire pit by the water with lawn chairs but it was so hot and humid the first two evenings and we didn't feel like adding more heat!It was a very peaceful spot with the noises of the loons day and night. "

"We spent a lovely Saturday - Tuesday up in the area with our friends and this was truly such a gem of a spot. We had the full spectrum of weather, so we were able to take full advantage of both the woodstove (wood provided) on a chilly evening, and use the boat launch and beach access on the sunny days!The beds were incredibly comfy, and my partner-who usually has back issues when traveling- had no issues sleeping and had no pain (a win!)The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots/pans/Tupperware/utensils that we needed to cook, which was perfect since we ate most of our meals at the cabin. Pantry staples were not included (like oil & spices) but we brought our own just in case, so it worked out perfectly.We heard loons on the lake, saw and incredible display of stars at night, and overall had such a great time. We will absolutely be back!"

"House was well stocked with everything including pans, silverware, dishes, towels, shampoo, kayak & canoe, dock, paddles, outdoor seating, fire pit. No bugs outdoors. Only complaint was backyard was not mowed & lots of vegetation around fire pit & no life jackets (had to drive into town to rent some)."
